RESTORING A RARE 914-6 PORSCHE

What Car: 1970 Porsche 914-6 Cab

The Porsche 914-6 with its flat 6 engine is a true classic of the automotive world. Built between 1969 and 1972, this iconic sports car was a joint venture between Porsche and Volkswagen, and it quickly became a favourite among driving enthusiasts.
Guy, the owner booked this particular car into the shop for a full GBG nut and bolt restoration, having followed our well-documented GBG Porsche backdate build and loved it.  The work carried out included stripping the car back to bare metal, custom fabrication and repair,  a full-colour change, custom retrimmed interior, engine strip down and rebuild and every part that went back onto the car was either restored or replaced. Check out the project in more detail in part 1 and part 2
After 1000s of man-hours, we are super proud of how this amazing car has turned out. We are hoping to do a full-finished shoot over in Tenerife where Guy lives and bring you some awesome final footage of the car in action.
Big thanks to our team for knocking this project out of the park once more.

IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK TO LOOK THIS GOOD

With too much to describe in this small space why not head to our blog where we documented the whole build.
