VEHICLE CORNER WEIGHTING
Achieving 50% cross weight, also known as corner weighting, is a fundamental step in optimising the performance and ensuring consistent handling of your high-performance vehicle, be it for fast road driving, track days, or motorsport.
When a vehicle exhibits uneven weight distribution, with one side bearing more weight than the other, the side with greater weight will experience enhanced grip during braking and acceleration. This imbalance may lead to a sensation of nervousness in the car, while in more severe instances, it can result in traction loss or wheel lock-up.
If your vehicle is equipped with adjustable suspension we will adjust the ride height in each corner individually and then carefully lower the vehicle onto four precision measuring pads to help accurately achieve a 50/50 vehicle cross weight split between diagonally opposite tyres.
